Apparently Google is a non web based email.

Or you could try Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express if you have it installed.

Right mate i've looked at Yahoo mail and you can use Outlook express to receive e-mails if thats any help. It means the e-mails will save to your comp instead of being online

There's not really such a thing as 'web-based' email. A web browser is just a way of accessing your email if the email provider supports it. Both my work email and my personal Gmail account can be accessed via Outlook or a web browser depending if I'm on my work PC, my home PC, or any other PC.

Many email providers will give you instructions on how to access their email systems via mail client (such as Outlook) and web browser. If they don't tell you how to access it via Outlook, just do a quick Google to find out if anyone has knows how to do it.

Perhaps what this service that you are trying to sign up for means is that they don't accept 'freeby' email domains (e.g. Hotmail) as these are very easy to sign up for and so are commonly used for various scams.

Agreed, what they are after is a corporate (work based) email account
