    Default caliper painting ????

Im thinking about painting my calipers and would appreciate some advice...

1,what colour would look the best ? my car is star silver,
2, whats best to paint them with ? Ive seen some people using smooth hammerite ?? is this the same as caliper paint ?

I dont think I will get around to it for a few weeks, but I will be grateful for any advice....thanks in anticipation.......Bob.

Done mine in gold as per THIS thread. Just smooth hammerite, two coats. Been done for nearly a year now I think and still look as good as the day I did them

I used Hammerite Smooth Blue on mine and I'm very pleased with them. I like the blue on silver cars, but red, blue, silver or yellow all go just fine with silver. I would suggest that you think about some decals though, they really finish them off well. As per avatar

They are the dogs danglies, come in several colours so you can match them to your caliper or bodywork paint, quick delivery, cheap, good instructions, well worth the price

I went for Silver for my Blue calipers, very happy

What colour are your calipers mate? On a black car with red calipers I think the carbon ones might not stand out much, silver would be a good bet, gold would look great on red calipers on a black car.

I went for the smooth red hammerite with the silver decals and I am well chuffed with them . I think the colour is down to your personal choice but if you can't decide the above does look real good.
