Question AA Warranty and 1.9 CDTi Inlet manifold

Just wondered if any 1.9 CDTi owners with an AA parts and labour warrenty had managed to get a contribution towards the cost of replacement inlet manifold due to broken swirl actuator from the AA. (My cover is up to £500)
Just wondered how you would stand with it as the car hasn't strictly broken down.

    Any comments?

If the swirl valve rod fell, it will fell again for sure. If they don't give you a refund, just put it on eBay, I'm sure someone else is looking for one.

Who did you ring Vauxhall or AA?

You will be putting the rod back on again in no time at all trust me. I put mind back on with the washer fix, was good for 3000 miles but now gone again.

Need to think what would be required to get help with manifold replacement from AA.
