Default Help! Changing gear box oil on GSi but cant find the filler plug?!

    Hi guys!

As the title says really! In the middle of a change of gear box oil but cannot find the filler plug?! Only plug I can see is the reversing light switch.

Can some one point me to where it is?

    Cheers

    P.S it's a manual

    Hi V6
you don't say what year,on the 04 with F35 gearbox you remove revers light switch to refill (about 1.9 liters tighten switch to 15Nm)

Hello mate, thanks for the reply!

I'm getting quite good at missing things out .....

It's a 2002 and believe it's an F35 box. The reversing light switch seemed the only logical filling point when I was searching so thanks for confirming that for me

Why are you changing the gearbox oil. I thought it was one for the life of the car. Whilst I agree with changing it. What oil are putting back in?.
