    Default Front Calipers

Hopefully someone can help me again here.....went to change all my discs and pads today to discover that there is a Torx Bolt on the calipers. Now i thought it was an E20 but on inspection....it's not, it's the female bolt not a male.

    What the heck?

well mate there are both types..

red ones are the ones you talk about and green ones are the ones which need to be un-done in order to remove the caliper..

the ones you meant (female) are used to separate 2 parts of the caliper, do not touch them

    this way u'll understand better:

red-the bolts which you are talking about?
green-black bits which penfold is talking about
blue- the bolts which hold the caliper attached to the axle..
