Just a thought for the How-To section here:

    Step 1: Drink lager
    Step 2: Drink more lager
    Step 3: Drink more lager
Step 4: Focus on the tools
    Step 5: More lager
    Step 6: Fall over
Step 7: Drag yourself under the car
    Step 8: Drink more lager
Step 9: Aim the socket in the right area. Have a go...
Step 10: Bored cos you ain't using a power tool and not showing how manly you are. Call for another lager, then get angle grinder.
Step 11: After cutting out a centre exit for the exhaust drink more lager....
Step 12: Realise you need side exits, go in a mood, throw angle grinder, drink more lager.
Step 13: Discover quick release bolt
Step 14: Drink more lager. Pull exhaust to release from hangars, promptly drops on your head.
Step 15: Drink lager for the pain.
Step 16: Pride yourself on your new straight through exhaust system, promptly fall asleep under the car.

I may take you up on that offer Mark! I'm likely to be painting my calipers on Saturday afternoon, so the wheels etc. will be off anyway! My rears are fine, just the fronts are down to their last 1000-2000 miles.

I was looking at the EBC Green Stuff pads. Is there a huge difference with these to the standard VX ones (apart from the price!). If I went for EBC ones (which I couldn't get today) do you lose the brake wear function or will that still work?
