2.8 t lumppy on start up

can anybody tell me how to solve a problem i have ... when i start the beast up you have to leave it idling for about a 1 or 2 min or so otherwise if you rev it, it runs like a bag of nails and stalls as if its choking up then when you start it up again its ok. This only happens first thing in the morning or the first time you start in in a day. I seem to have had this problem ever since my battery went flat and i tryed to start it.... do i need to disconnect the battery for the management system to reset it's self again? or is there something more that i need to look at PLEASE PLEASE HELP

new ECM software would probably help you out.

A What? where do i get this done also forgot to mention i run on gas as well but even when thats not turned on it does it

Opel/VX from time to time release updated software for different engine control units. you can have it checked/updated by an authorised dealer. Of course it could be the gas system that has messed somthing up with the engie electronics.
