    Default Rodeo or Ranger

I know sounds like a line dancing move but I am on about the 4x4's. I need to buy a pick up, (still keeping the 150CDTi) and would like to hear from any one on here who has experience of either of these vehicles.

Ford Ranger 2.5 turbo diesel, double cab
Isuzu Rodeo 2.5 turbo diesel, double cab

I need to know what they are like on fuel and comfort also which is the best for towing and has a decent turning circle/ease of parking.

I am looking for one around 3 or 4 years old that has not been thrashed by builders/farmers.

Thanks in advance for the help and advice.

I don't know much about either. Isuzu engines are usually nuclear bomb proof, and the Rodeo is better looking than the Ranger, so I'd probably go down the Isuzu path.

I believe an Isuzu will be fine, so long as its not the 3.0 (Massive recalls on this with bad probs) The rest as Swaite said, are bomb proof lol.

Driven Rangers before now, I loved it. Drove like a boat on a Tsunami wave but still great. I much prefer defenders myself. I know they are not quite as big, but you could get into Off-Roading ? Its good fun !!!

    Cheers for the tips guys.

The trouble with the Toyota is they are much more for road tax. In this current financial climate, a factor that I must acknowledge.
