    Default Indicator stalk

First thing in the morning I find that when Switching on the indicators (seems to be when turing right) the indicator doesn't come on and switch doesn't appear to have the normal resistance if you see what I mean, after this it seems to work ok, is it just a case of removing the stalk and cleaning up the contact on the CIM?

if there is a lack of "normal resistance" then i would imagine that cleaning the contacts would have little or no effect - maybe the internal clock spring is weak and the part needs to be replaced

Thanks mate, could be the case, however it's strange that it's only just started doing it and only seems to do it once first thing in the morning, after that it's fine and resistance is normal; wish I had the cash to get rid of this thing and buy a BMW!! LOL , at least one thing I know for sure is that this will be my last vauxhall!!
    Cheers Pete
