Deny it all and say it was the missus driving!
awareness course every time!! in this case points dont mean prizes!!!
Yeah I agree, take the course. I've jus got one for doin 61 in a 50 at severn bridge tolls grr.
Do you automaticely get offered the course? I will defo take that option if they offer. If they dont i'll ask. I'm 25 so doubt i'll be able to afford an increase on an already expensive policy.
I'm pretty sure you can get the points taken off for free by requesting a change of address then change it back when the new one arrives
What exactly do they teach you on this course, is it theory, practice?
You could also decline the Fixed Penalty Notice and let the matter proceed to court
Very often the Police will send another offer of a FPN and/or the CPS/FPS refer the matter back to the Police
Equally, the speed limit signage or traffic order may be incorrect
If you know the road well, then it can sometimes be worth it
Also the court case will be held locally, if it is many miles away then it may be expensive
Furthermore you may need to attend court several times, each time costing you a days work
As above, 3 points is nothing really but it can affect your insurance over the next 5 years
It may cost an extra £250 in premiums
