    Default Q for peoples who have done 314 upgrade

    When upgrading to the 314 setup from standard setup do you have to change the brake pad low warning sensor to GSI or keep existing one...

    I just cut the ends and joined the wires together mate. I don't need a silly sensor to tell me when my pads are needing replacing...

    Want to do it all properly my little 4 eyed friend. The length of the sensor cable shouldn't be any different with the 314 setup IMO, just want it spot on in case I ever sell the car. cheers anyway

    Was the one you bought a direct replacment or one for a GSI. are they all the same fitment then....

    i went to buy new pads for the 314mm kit and the man asked if i needed a pad sensor, i said yes and he looked at the code and gave me the item..
    i really dont know if they are the same

    lol what i thought at the time was this:
    as far as i remember the sensors should be replaced with the pads because once they are worn they are useless right?
    well, my present sensor already warned me and my pads are in horrible condition but i didnt change them as i was waiting for the conversion..
    i hope it makes sense now? or it still doesnt?
