    Default servicing my z22se

    hi there just wonderd how or if you fill the oil filter cartridge when doing an oil change or do you just fill the engine run the engine and top up oil to correct level

    Pop it in dry, fill with oil, start then top up mate. Be sure to use a proper GM filter though mate, as the none GM ones can break down.

    PS, smear a little oil on the rubber seal

    cheers mate yeh got all the bits from vaux the other day also whilst your about mate,is it possible to wind the rear piston on the calipers with a pair of pliers or should i buy the tool

    You can use a set of pin nose pliers while pushing in. I've never done it though as I bought the Tool so couldn't tell you how hard it is.

    No worries, mine's in Feb, think I might need a new set of rear shocks.
