    You cant stop error codes, they are there for a reason. You'll probably damage your car trying to put resistors in place where your not supposed to.

    should it be the loading on it as well? if you use a 1/4watt 25ohm resistor and the lamp for example pulls 2 watts.. boom goes the resistor

    would be in parallel to simulate the current draw. then you have to take into account the resistance of the led's being fitted too
