Metal Polish,which one?????

Right guys,just picked up a 2nd hand VXR exhaust system and want to clean and protect it before i get it fitted,can anyone recommend me an easy to use polish that will keep the exhaust looking clean and shiney for a few weeks,Cheers............

I'd go for either Autosol Metal Polish or Meguiars NXT Metal Polish. They will both will clean and protect. The Autosol is a bit harsher. Either can be had from most good motor shops e.g. Halfords.

Highly recommend THIS Glen.

FIL4822 brought me some back from the US last year and it's fantastic. Been using Autosol for years which i was always impressed with but this stuff is even better.

I was using Autosol but tried the Megs stuff and was very impressed, so much so that is what I now use for my Exhaust tailpipes. This stuff also seems to keep the soot at bay aswell.

I've took the plunge and bought the Megs all metal polish,i'll get back to you all when i've used it and let you know how i get on,cheers again guys.........

on my old vxr pipes you can imagen how black they got with my oil burner, one quick rub with the megs and it all comes straight off! .....lump told me about so i know it must be good as he had tried most others m8

i have tried autosol,its good dont get me wrong but the megs is easyer to use/remove
