Many use expensive stuff but i use autoglym special wheel cleaner to clean and alloy wheel seal to protect. Failing that normal car polish will protect them if need be

For a really good clean use Very Cherry from Autobrite or Bilberry from Elite Carcare etc. Both these are very good and a little goes a long way as you water it down plus its harmless so I use it all the time on my car and families.
For protection use some Collinite 415 which is a very good wax and protects and lasts for ages, and once again you can get this from Autobrite.

As previously said, I'd use Bilberry or Very Cherry to clean them; with a EZ detail brush (not cheap, but really does the job well, and worth it IMO).

As for protection, I'd go for either FinishKare 1000P Hi-Temp Sealant, or Poorboys Wheel Sealant. Both are hard wearing and will assist in future washes.
