Default Has your opinion on the FaceLift model changed now it has been out for a while?

Wandering what other people's opinions are on this

When it first came out, I wasn't overly fussed by it and preferred the pre-facelift to look at.

After a month or so of seeing it about my opinion began to change and now I really really like it, a lot moreso now than the prefacelift (which I still really like )

Has anyone else experienced this.... or the opposite perhaps?

Would be interested to hear what you think

I like the look of the facelift, But from experience of both, I'm much happier in my older, pre facelift, higher mileage, more comfortable, better equiped car that has a much better interior and steering. Can't compare ride as mines obvious whereas the model I drove was a basic one.

However, my stereo was better even before I replaced it, the dash of the new car looks like it's been recycled from a Cavalier and it just felt a lot 'tinnier' than mine.

Im happy with my facelift desgin , loads of standard kit and very solid build quality , wasnt a fan of the old car it just looked so dull and TBH if they hadnt facelifted it i would still be in a mondeo .

I liked the lift a lot when I saw it 1st, but now i've swung back round to the pre, the face would have been lovely had they redone the rear end, now it looks to me like an half arsed effort with one end modern and one end old, and they cant play the old cash flow card either, they had the rear end to put on it from the soon to be released Saturn Aura, unless the D model is closer to production than we are told it is.

When it first appeared I was 50/50 on it, but once I noticed the VXR my bottom lip dropped. Damn Holden for changing to el cheapo Deawoo junk thus denying us any more Vectra's (for the time being) cause I would have gone straight to the dealer & put my order in for the VXR. No doubt, Holden will realise their mistake buy importing Deawoos just to get sales. More & more people will soon realise the best cars in Holdens fleet are the Opel/Vaux ones & once we get rid of this new CEO I have no doubt, the Vectra will be back. At least they have the foresite to keep the Astra I guess.

I was a bit uncertain at first.... The pre-facelift looked more 'corporate' but I love the new facelift now... much prefer it to the pre-facelift.

I think it looks fresher & sportier....

The back end staying the same is a bit ****.. but it is called a 'facelift' for a reason. otherwise it would be a 'face & **** lift' and then it would need a 'boob job'
