    Default Good job/Bad job

    Hi

Due to someone braking sharply and me hitting him in the rear, or probably me not looking where I was going, my car has been to the bodyshop foe a new bonnet, new front bumper, new crash limiter and new air con. radiator. Also had the slam panel straightened.

At first glance it is a perfect job. However, looking further, there is a fixing bolt missing from the crash limiter, with another of the wrong type and a non original bolt in the bonnet hinge. This only what I can see without removig the bumper.

My real concern is the fit of the bonnet. The front of the bonnet that overhangs to the top of the bumper has a large gap behind it and if pushed flexes backwards by about 12mm.

What I would like to know is, does your Vectra bonnet do the same thing?

    Thaks for any replies.

Take it back for them to correct all their errors

Was this an insurance claim or paid privately?
Who carried out the repair; independent repair agent, an insurance recognised agent, or main dealer?

Sometimes OE parts aren't available, but all the Vectra C parts should be until 2013
I had a similar issue when mine was accident repaired
The undertray hadn't been repaired at all
The replacement they received was for the wrong type of Vectra C, they assumed it was the same for all SRI models!
