Default SRI Lights & Brake Light.

Was just wondering if i'd overcome and problems swapping my rear lights on my LS (Permanent orange indicators) for the SRI rear lights (Clear indicators). Is the brake light easy to swap over aswell? I think it'd make my LS look miles better as it's a grey veccy.

    Vehicle : Vectra

    Trim : SRi

    Engine : 150

    Year : 05

    Mileage : 74000

    Default

SRi's have 'smoked' rear indicators, think theres 3 nuts to undo from the inside. Elites have clear rear indicators. And they looked miles better than the LS ones.

As above. Three nuts secure the cluster. The nearside cluster can be a bit trickier, as its a bit tighter in that compartment.

Just remember that the bulbs are slightly different between the 2 sets. (Amber tip cluster has clear indicator bulbs. Smoke tip cluster has amber indicator bulbs).

Ahh, I didn't know the SRI ones was different to the Elites, but either way they're miles better than the LS! Yes, I figured the bulbs would need changing like. But just to confirm, the ones from SRI/Elite will definately fit my LS? Don't suppose you'd know about the middle brake light aswell?

The centre brake light can be a b**ch to change. i had to go at it from inside the boot and even then it was still a pain to do!

to replace the centre light you will need to remove the trim which is held on with torx 20 screws, and then you can get to the light unit, but you might not be able to remove it from the inside that easly, and mind the paint work when removing from the out side
