    Question let there be light?

just a quicky... ever since i've had the car the light doesn't come on when you open the door,..
Having pressed the various buttons, all the lights seem to work on their own (as far as i can tell) is this just a bulb, common problem,.. how does the unit undo in order to inspect/replace bulbs? sorry feel a bit clueless about such a teeny problem, but it is annoying

The large clear cover is just clipped in mate, slide a plastic wedge down the side of it and it will come off.

Could it be the door module that is not sensing that the door is open?.
Do you have rear courtesy lights. Do they come on when the door is opened. Is it affected whether it is the front or rear door that is opened.

Do the lights come on when you unlock the car?

Have opened each door in turn, no courtesy light either front or rear although rear ones come on when front light is turned on

If it's the sensor,..is that a big (expensive) job?

Does the door open light (or door symbol, depending on age of car) illuminate in the speedo housing when a door is opened?

Does the light work if you switch it on manually?
