My new GSi

My new Gsi, picked up today. Couple of things need doing but nothing too major Thermostat needs changing and the garage put the wrong antifreeze in - blue stuff, not the red, minor scratches need sorting but nothing my DA won't clean up.

Well impressed as I just discovered its got electric folding mirrors that I didn't know about as well as the std xenons, heated half leather front seats and rear window blinds. Driven back up from weymouth acheived a nice 33mpg too, not bad for A and B roads.

A good price imo, considering its now got 12months ticket, full service and cambelt done

Sounds like a nice motor you have there. I bet you had a big smile on your face when you drove it back. To change the thermostat is a bit of a long job though. Will you be doing it yourself.

i think the thermostat is gone as it doesn't hold a constant temp. I have no idea where its located though. Its very tidy overall. Just a couple of small marks
