Tinted rear lights...AGAIN!!!!

Having tinted the light's red previously i wanted a change and wanted them to be more subtle against the black bodywork.

So having been on hols this week i thought what the hell and whipped them off and done them a smoke tint, they have been laquered and just need a final sand and polish, but i'm struggling to get some 2000grit wet and dry.

Also i masked off the refelector and didnt do the light's too dark either

Looks very nice, need some night time pics to compare brightness levels!

I like the laquering idea, I've never done that and ended up with a matt finish!

2000 grit is too corse! at very least you want 2500...

I always assumed that 2000 was the highest, i'm gonna go to a local bodyshop supplier near me and i will ask for that

Thanks so much for the pics, was after doing this to my Siggy too but wasnt sure on how it would look. Shame you have to leave the reflector bit red though Very nice!
