Default About to have a remap...

Just bought my pre-face lift cdti 150 recently and have just enquiried about a full service with a remap for next week. Being closeby to Southampton, i have spoken to Regal who will do a remap for £480. They state it should make between 195-206bhp with 200 being about the norm and 325Ibs/ft torque which sounds pretty good. Has anybody had any dealings with Regal and are there remaps as good as they sound. I am wondering if they use a rolling road with results and graphs etc. It seems many of you like BSR but i think they are little too far away. Any real difference between the two?

BSR maps are done with PPC, so you get it delivered and DIY

You won't get 200bhp from the EDS map that Regal offer. BSR is good, but then again so is EDS, just a shame that Regal don't have the best customer service.

i have had the regal eds remap done to my vec, and with a cat-back exhaust and panel filter she was rolling roaded at 208bhp and 328lbft torque last week. i bought the ipf programmer previously and now have all the software to remap any 1.9 16v cdti vectra or astra.

Thanks for all the responses. The car does need a service anyway so i will give them a try next week.... just want to be careful seeing i'll be parting with over £700.

I have to admit i am loving this forum, you all seem real friendly and helpful. I am/was a member of the gtidrivers forum for the pug 205 gti. You always get good professional advice on there but also abit too much flaming and attitude on occasions; too much for my liking anyway moving my 1.9 205 gti on now being replaced by the vec cdti 150. The only problem is i seriously cannot parrallel park the vec,.. compared to the 205 it huge!
