    Default INSP Light`

As per the title, what is this light for?

Been to the docs with my son tonight and noticed this come on when I switched off, it came back on when I started the car again, then went out after a few seconds. It comes on all the time now when switching on and off.

I've never noticed it come on before, it can't be due a service already (if it means this?) I've only had the car 2 months and the dealer (Perry's) serviced it and stamped the book.

    Advice please?

    Cheers

    Why not reset it yourself?

    Just search the word "insp"

    eg:-

Or you can do it yourself.
    Hold the "oddmeter" button down.
With your foot on the brake pedal ( you need to press the brake pedal on some models)
Now turn the ignition on. But don,t start the car.
Hols both the brake pedal and the button in for "say" ten seconds. Then the INSP will disapear from the speedo.

    Do NOT reset it yourself...

Take the car to the dealership with the service book, advise them it was recently serviced, and the INSP light is back on again
Resetting it will mean the service interval will be incorrect, so it is up to them to correct that mistake

I'd be looking for at least an oil and filter change, or a service voucher to the value of £25
