Default Vectra GTS Apollo Intake + River Pics

After 3 hours and numerous hassles with piping and a bit of brotek, got the K&N apollo intake fitter.

All I can say is that its definitely reduced various flat spots through the range and also gives a hefty rawr instead of the usual induction sucking sound.

Also find below some shots of Perth City and the Vectra.

Sweet mate, bet it sound great on the V6, but you really want to have the bends before the filter not after. Could you not move the MAF inwards then put the filter on that, then just have the cold air feed coming in with one 90 bend?

What a coincidence, I've just been trying to bodge an Apollo onto my V6. I've been scouring the net for a 90 degree bend, it never occurred to me to use a loop of duct.

Mine's fitted ghetto style for the minute and you're right about the noise, it sounds really meaty. ROAR!

Basically a right angle pushes the appollo way to far forward, and would be impossible to fit it to the stock intake. Has anyone on here done a custom intake?

How about a nice smooth 90 on the plenum intake, the MAF then the filter?
