Default Dealer Quote £350 for Cambelt - Any Good?

SLM Vauxhall Hastings quoted me £350 all in to do my cambelt including all tensioners etc.

    For the 3.0 Oil burner.

    Is this a reasonable price?

    2003 V6 CDTI
    That'll be a Y30DT
    £350
If thats a fully fitted price, then that's excellent
The labour alone is 6 hours
When you book it in ask for the split between labour and parts

I had one done just a few weeks ago (Vectra C) under service agreement, and VX were billed nearly £500, which was £300 in labour and £200 for the cambelt

I got the cambelt, tensioners and aux belt for £220. Is this a good price? The cambelt is from Gates and I think the aux belt is Bosch, but not so sure about that.

The cambelt kit includes the cambelt, tensioner, and two rollers
The auxiliary belt has a different service interval, but you could do it at the same time, as it is quite cheap anyway (about £20)

I wouldnt ask, they might then realise they have misquoted. I'd jump at that price.
