    Default Deadlocked Signum

Help!!!! I have had my 04 Signum stolen and the keys taken aswell. The car has now been recovered but is deadlocked and the passenger window is down so I can get in the car, but as I dont have any keys now I cannot open the doors!!!!!! Does anyone know how O could open the doors because if the insurance company writes it off I want the new seats I fitted to it taking back out and the old ones refitting as my nice insurance company wont pay out for the new seats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HELP PLEASE???

Even if you could suss this out, I wouldn't say anything on a public facing forum...
It could have provided help to would-be thieves...and in turn a lot of Vectra / Signum owners would be put at risk of damage to their vehicles, valuables and therefore insurance premiums etc.

how much are the seats worth? also if you can get in through the windows is it possible to dismantle the seats in the car and go through the window? Sunroof?

does the signum have one of those boots you can open from the inside?

if teh seats are worth forking out for it mabye call an automotive locksmith?

surley if the cars been recoverd and that. why would the insurance company write it off? it would just be a repair job wouldent it? new locks and a new code put into the computer onboard?

Hi, thanks for the quick replies, they broke into our home and took the keys, the car is only worth 4k and has been smashed up front and rear end and down one side and 3 of the alloys are shot, so the garage thinks it will be written off!!! I could try the window for getting the seats out but i dont think they would fit thru, I do have a rear boot switch but this doesnt work when the car has been deadlocked. The only thing Ive been told to do is to get a blank key cut and not programmed and then i should be able to open the doors at least.
    Thanks

if the front end is smashed up, if the insurnace bloke hassnt been around. smash the windscreen and climb in that way. if its a definate write off then fudge it and put a window in or get a wreking bar on the boot/doors?

easiest thing is to order a new key for it, but dont program it. That key will then get you into the car but the alarm will go off which you can silence by putting the key into the ignition. If you keep the car then get someone local with tech2 or key programmer to then program the key.
Plasma's Tech2 services are now partially open and able to provide services
