    Default disconnect center speaker

    hey guys, im looking at doing a bit more audio work in the next fews and im wanting to disconnect the front center speaker, just wondering if anyone knows of how to go about doing that??? cheers

    Just unclip the vent unscrew the speaker and unplug it.

    centre speaker? wheres this? i have speakers on my doors and thats it as far as i know

    oh really?? whats the benefit of disconecting it then? my god i never knew! i thought that was like an air vent or something

    how do i get that cover off, it feels like its about to break in my hands so i stopped, oh and the reason i wanna take it out because im upgrading all the other speakers and amping then and i dont want that one at all haha

    Can you use the feed to this speaker for a line driver to phono converter for a subwoofer amp? If so it'd be a good way of adding an amp without messing with the door speakers.

    Some take a feed from both left and right channels so its only Mono, some have there own feed from the HU however. All it does is raise the sound stage, something a good component set up will do far better so no real point upgrading the speaker TBH. With a good Line driver you can take all for channels and put them through the line driver if they have 4 speaker inputs and 4 RCA outs. This way you still have full control of your system from the stock HU.
