    confused VXR exhaust fitting

    I have aquired a cat back VXR exhaust system which i'm picking up at the weekend,what i want to know is,whats the difference in the bore size from my 1.8 exhaust to the VXR one and how would i go about fitting it,anyone got any idea's that would help ???????

    I have some reducers here mate,they join different diameter pipes together or just ask at a local exhaust fitting centre to borrow their tool that expands the bore size of the pipe,might be best having a blow torch on hand to heat the pipe a bit and a rubber mallet

    Hi glen, i bought a vectra gsi twin exhaust for my 1.8 and i took it to a stainless exhaust company and they only charged me £45 to fit it, that included the reducer, it might be worth your while to have it done that way

    Cheers m8,was thinking the same,but like to have a go myself first,love to get my hands dirty but if i don't work it out myself then thats what i'll do.........

    im the same mate, but for some reason i hate messing around with exhausts lol, but i did fit a system to my VXR replica last weekend and it wasnt that bad to fit even though i was dreading doing it
