    Default Fault Codes V6 CDTI

Could anyone give some pointers as to what could be causing the following fault codes?

P0400 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Malfunction

P0460 Fuel Level Sensor Circuit Malfunction

P1566 Speed Control Command Switch Out of Range Low

    Thanks

    Default

    P0400
That is most likely to be the EGR valve that has failed

    P0460
That is most likely to be the fuel tank level sensor

    P1566
That is most likely to be the accelerator pedal sensor

The first one is going to cost you between £150 and £200, but the main issue there is you may need to wait up to four weeks as there is quite a backlog of outstanding orders to meet

The other two are going to cost between £75 and £100

(All are part prices only, excluding labour)

I've still not managed to locate the EGR valve on the Y30DT engine, even though I know what it looks like!

Where did you find an Isuzu EGR that cheap?

The EGR is located on the left side of the engine under the ECU.

The ECU is on the airbox! Remove the black engine cover, look on the left hand side, in the middle for a metal pipe. Its under there!
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

The one I meant is on the engine not the airbox. And I think I made mysef clear as to where the said ECU is located.

Yes you did but there is no ecu over my egr that I am aware! The Ecu is behind the EGR if my memory serves. maybe you should post a photo or state that the ecu you mean has Izuzu written on it as its not the most clearly visable one when there is a phappin great one staring you in the face over the air box. just trying to be a bit clearer for someone who just may not know. No need to take it so personal

There is some Isuzu stickers on it
The ECU itself may not be over the EGR, but the plate it is on covers half of the EGR. I might be wrong...I've a headache lol
