    Default MTB light's?

Any of you mountain biker's reccomend me a decent set of lights for the winter months? They will be used for single track use and fire road's and battery life will need to be at least 2hrs, so a decent quality set...

    What's your budget?

There's a make (name escapes me for the moment) that are the dog's danglies when it comes to bike lights, but they're not cheap as you'd expect.

plenty to choose from, from cheapish sets that will do the job to stupidly expensive sets, lol
have a look at bikeradar and do a search for lights on there, there are 100's of posts about lights and recommendations

Lumicycle make some really good cycle lights, but they're very expensive (£200+).

Realistically, I bought a set from Halfords (BikeHut, about £20 IIRC). They're pretty good for the price - bright and the battery life is excellent.

Your best bet is to get yourself on deal extreme. Having tried a load of different lights at varying prices i know use two very very bright torches taht cost me about £30 each on my handle bars and a smaller one on my helmet. Alternatively they also sell some very good bike lights for alot less than the big name brands.

For lots of advice go on www.retrobike.co.uk and search for lights.

Not really got a budget TBH but i have been looking at Hope light's and they are coming in around the £200 mark...but im toying with the idea of getting a set for the handlebar and also one for the helmet seeing as its downhill single track im doing..
