Z22yh EGR valve

Good morning guys,

i was looking for the egr valve on the z22yh engine, some threads said it was located on the passenger side of the engine. I think i found it, it has part number 24404025, 4 strangely shaped studs and one connector on top of it. Is this the egr valve?

What kind of tools do i need to get it off?

Could anyone give me some info?

guys,

i had losen up the bolts, there was a liquid dripping out of the egr valve housing, is this coolant liqiud??

because i can't see any fittings of the coolant circuit, does this mean it's internally connected to the engines coolant liquid circuit?

That means i have to drain some coolant before removing the egr valve.

is this the right conclusion?

Yes mate the EGR is cooled from the block so you need to drain the coolant slightly. There is a drain plug on the bottom of the radiator.
