Default Should admin topup the 'help the heroes' appeal ?

I notice that the sites 'Help the Heroes' appeal fund appears to have run out of steam, its not moved for the last month from my last efforts to get some momentum into it.

Despite the generousity of those that have donated, it is taking a very long time to raise the target of £1000, indeed, despite the forums large membership only a small minority have donated anything.

Its been standing at its current figure of £711 for some time now.

Therefore, in view of the fact that quite a few members have paid over their £15 to become full members, does anyone else share my view that maybe our generous admin staff donate the remaining £289 out of members club fee's so the target can be reached before some of us die.
So come on ADMIN you know you want to... just think how good it will make you feel, and what a fanastic gesture for the site.

What do you.. our member think. ?

Can someone perhaps setup up a poll, so we can have a vote on it. ?

I'm sure good chunk of it goes towards paying for the server this site runs on. I don't we should put admin on the spot like this.

No but i would hope that if folk do see this, they may consider donating themselves to get the fund up to the £1000.

Athough it is possible that folk have donated in other ways too??

No they shouldn't, charitable giving should be the choice of the individual.

    Ditto!
I've made quite a lot of donations towards H4H since its inception because its a worthy cause..

Maybe a PM to Admin (out of courtesy at least) would have been better than trying the peer pressure approach first

How is he sure that Admin have not donated already?. But donating is an individual choice. We may have our own "chosen charity" that is "special" to an individuals heart for probably personal reasons "etc".
