Can i ground my amp to the stereo ground?

Sorry if this is a daft question, but i already have a ground running from my stereo loom to my boot for a HDD MP3 player I have in there. Would i have problems if I ran the ground from my amp to there so i dont have to drill a hole in the floor?

Are there no bolts under the rear seats or behind the trim panels you can use?

mine is earthed to the rear seat fixing bolt just under the carpet

No suitanle ones that i could find behing the trim with out running a long cable. Suppose i could use one of the seat bolts..
