removing heater controls

hi can anyone tell me how to remove the heater controls i can find it in my haynes thanks.

Get hold of the two main wheels either side and sharply tug, thats the way i do mine

I got mine out with a carefully padded screwdriver inbetween one site of the heater control panel and the centre console. It's a bit easier if you remove the cubby-hole underneath first.

The heater controls are connected via a short thick bunch of cables - there's just enough spare to get down the back and disconnect it - it's a push/slide connector like the headlights.
