    Default PC99-X45 help please

I've just installed a Pioneer HU into my 54 plate vectra, and it is up and running fine.
Last night i got the PC99-X45 harness adaptor and the PC99-PIO patch lead.
I went to connect these up and......nothing...no power or anything.
There are two red and yellow wires on the X45 that are unconnected.
What do i connect these up to?
I connected the red upto the thick red on the back of the cars ISO block - but this just gave me a permanent live (the steering wheel controls worked tho)

    any ideas?
    cheers

Opel/vauxhall have reversed ignition and permanent live..

so you have to put them round the otherway.

I had to swap the wires around on the patch leads as well as the head unit to get mine to work.

    Default hi monkeez

    hi monkezz.
what you need to do is on the pc99-x45 lead the end that joins to car loom have a look for white wire and orange wire.there is a space between them you need to fit a wire with spade connection into it and join it to the red wire with the bullet connection this is for the switched live.
then have a look at the back of your 3100 unit for the remote wire and join that to the blue wire remote with bullet connection keep the red to red and yellow to yellow on back of your head unit no need to reverse it .then reset unit and all is working with full s/controls

Did you get the HU working with these leads in the end? I'm just about to purchase these leads for my new Pioneer Avic HD3.

    Cheers
