    Default K and N service kit......

    Am I better of getting the aerosol spray oil or the non aerosol oil.

    which is better or doesn't it matter?

    i have a 2 part kit that is about a tenner.....

    this contain's the cleaner and non aerosol oil that i find easier to use as it has level's on the oil for the amount you need, if you over oil it will naff up the maff sensor

    I'll go with Rich on the non aerosol, simply for the reason he says, it has marks to show you how much to use

    I have a service kit aswell but my oil is the spray type which I find easy enough to use as you spray light coats untill the filter is red all the way through and allow time for the oil to penetrate through. Just in case I did over oil I patted lightly with kitchen towel to remove any serious excess.
    I did this in January of this year and have had no problems.
    Also when you remove the filter from the airbox be sure to clear all the debris from the bottom of the airbox and tap the filter with the dirty side down as loads of crud gets trapped in between the pleats / veins.
    As to whick kit is best I really dont know but you use far more cleaning solution than oil so maybe get a big can of cleaner as I nearly used all mine up on the first clean so not much left for next time.
