    Default Had some bad news...

Well as some of you know i injured my back in May whilst at work.

Well work have turned around today and have told me they are sending me off to the occupation health so i can be assesed for a medical retirement.

Im fuming... due to doing my job and getting injuried they wanna screw me over!

Went back to the docs today to get whatever extra treatment i can as my back is improving, but they refused and said i should take the medical retirement..

Im 24.. I will never have enough of a pension to survive. I have no idea about other jobs, and my ideas of joining the police, customs or ukba in the future will be screwed.

So at 24.... I'm screwed...... anyone got any ideas what I can do?

Mate, Im in the police and I did my back in in Feb in a bad crash. They are trying to restrict me from going out because I'm never going to be 100% fit again.

As for your current situation, what is the nature of your injury?? Also, do you have private medical cover?

What was the nature of the injury? were you employees at fault? To be honest I would be down the local CAB office to see what your options were.

My other car. 1972 1641cc slammed beetle. On the road finally!!

Lol.. I deal with your 'customers' once you have processed them

Ive got some muscle damage... things are improving i can now lift boxes and generally go about my daily life (with a lil pain but ive got used to it) However i cannot move suddenly without it going into spasm. And dealing with your 'customers' can mean moving quickly and suddenly at times

I have no private medical care.... i should of got it when i saw it for £2 a week!

Im going back to the docs 2moro to see if i can get a second oppinon etc etc

Sorry to hear this but bad backs never get back 100%, had a bad crash some years ago still suffer slightly from it, normal day to day life is fine but on certain occasions you can get the odd twinge of pain/ache but nothing to stop you doing what you want to do.
