    Default DPF or not?

    Hi all!

I was wondering if this is the DPF or not and I thought it'd be better to ask the specialists. What do you think? It sits right in the middle of the car and from what I've heard, if it has something coming out of it, it must be the DPF.

Thanks, I was thinking the same. Any suggestion on how I can clean it, other than with a computer?

A local mechanic told me to constantly run the car at 2500 rpm for 25 minutes. This way he says, the ECU will enter the DPF cleaning program and the DPF will clean big time. Is this true?

Yes thats the dpf with the fuel line going into it which injects diesel into the exhaust to burn all the deposits collected at high temp.

Yep take it for a run somewhere. Either that or a computer can "force" it to regen.
