Default Tyres For 19" Snowflakes - Your Suggestions!

Managed to get some 19" Snowflakes (Thanks Robbie69!) and want to changed the tyres as the ones on there now make way too much road noise.

Dont know what brand they are but they have heaps of tread - so for all those out there with the same Snowflakes, what tyres are you running and what are they like?

I'm close to ordering some Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetrical's - but thought I'd see other peeps opinions as well.

    Cheers.

I had Goodyear F1's on my snowflakes and I found them noisier than the Ecsta ones I replaced them with. For the difference in price (Ecstas much cheaper), I actually found them to be a better tyre than the Goodyears in my opinion.

I had the new F1 Asymmetrical on my last Vec, and they were 50 bagajillion times better than the GSD3's - and I thought that those were pretty much the best out there.

I think I may have to succumb to the Eagle F1 after all!

vredstein ultrac sessant are £120 a corner in 19s, about £30 a corner cheaper than the F1s

and they wear better too. I'm on about 8k out of mine and still got plenty left.

Evo rated them better "feeling" tyres in the subjective handlind test than the F1s. They were about 1m better in the dry braking test than the F1s and better when it came to resisting aqua planing too.

The F1 was midly better in some of the dry tests, but not by much. They are easily well within a couple of percent for performance, but for nearly 20 % cheaper.

Much better buy in my book.

I have continentals & Avons on mine, like them both. Falken's seem to get good reviews so I might try them..have to agree with Diamond, they will all be noisy!
