    Default Z20NET Standard Output

Had my Signum 2.0T (Z20NET) on the Rollers yesterday, the engine is completely standard with only the airbox mod (Plastic trumpet removed) and running on SUL.
The rollers seemed to read fairly accurately according to the other guys there on the day; John_K_Sri's Edition 100 with BSR Stage 1 put down 224BHP, his previous run was 222BHP but he's since done the airbox mod (I believe) so 224BHP seems about right and calibrates a good level of accuracy for the setup!

    The Results

    Max BHP: 183.6 @ 5755RPM
    Max Torque: 185.6lb/ft (~252NM) @ 3890 RPM

    Conclusion

So for me the BHP result was a little higher than expected (172BHP), the Torque figures were a little down on expected (195lb/ft / 265NM). I had been told that the output of these engines varied but I'm chuffed with the baseline results. It seemed to make sense to draw a line in the sand so I know what the Signum is putting down. The curve on the graph looks nice and smooth with a nice steep torque line!

no doubt helped there - would be nice to see what it outputs in the sub 10 degree temps might push closer to 185-190 which for a trumpet mod and super unleaded is some nice figures -

I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow when mines EDS mapped by MPG!

I wanted before and after figures so I can actually see the difference the Map gives.

I'll post up the new graph tomorrow evening, might help you make your mind up.

be interested to see the results - mine was remapped by torquing bhp last week and i now have p0244 turbo pressure solenoid reference fault - same problem that Duncan has with his stage 1 bsr ppc remap where you have a "stutter" on acceleration then it feels like your driving a standard petrol and cant hear the turbo spooling at all replaced the sensor = faults still present (but hasnt been cleared yet)...
so Darrell from Torquing Bhp will be visiting be for a live run test and then adjusting the remap accordingly - Jezzy had similar issues as well

so let us know how you get on

I believe the maps are meant to be more aggressive than BSR's so we'll have to see! They said they'd overlay the graphs so i'll get an idea of the difference.
