    Default Opel Vectra C 2.2

    Hi guys,

I have got a problem here and it looks so:

After washing up of car engine it started normally but for next start it didn't come on again. Check lamp is off; it is not possible to connect to ECU
while other modules have number of faults.

It seems that there is a big problem with ECU now I wish to buy another second hand ECU+IMMO+KEYS but I need your help with immo can you tell me please where is immo in the Opel Vectra C?
    Thanks
    Dilick

    thanks boddy,
but it's already the 3rd day not probably but actually modules got water in
and now they all are dried out.

Have you checked the plugs on the Engine ECU and ABS plug? The ECU on the 2.2 is bolted to the intake manifold with 2 large plugs attached and the ABS module is up behind the battery.

yes sure I have already checked the plug on the ECU and as for ABS plugs not yet does it affect engine start and Check lamp presence?
I tried to scan it but there is no connection possible with ECU
while I easily got access to other modules (ABS, IMMO, SDM, IPS and others) they all got number of faults.

the main problem is that I could not get connected to ECU?

    Thanks

A wet or dirty ABS plug can cause the same faults as a faulty CIM. Mine wouldn't start, dash lights all over the place........... A good clean and all was well.
