    Default 302's Or 285's ??

Need to replace my standard 285's pads and discs in the next few weeks..

Ive been offered some Used 302's (discs calipers and pads.. basically everything i need) for £100 ish

What do I do?? Are 302's Much better than the 285's??? I will be needing the brakes during the winter as i travel across the moors for work every day whilst dodging, sheep, badgers, Ponies and Cows!

Also in peoples exp how does it effect your insurance??

    Cheers Guys..

I want them... But need to get soph an honest oppinion and maybe un biased oppinion etc etc

i thought you would feel a little difference, but not much, unless you went to 314's, if you car needed 302's then they would off been fitted at the factory

We notice between the 302's and 314's so would think you'd notice the difference.

I upgraded to 302's and they are much better than standard 285's when I need to use them in anger they stop me brilliantly and I have not had them fade yet and Liverpool Victoria dropped my insurance by £110 a year so they were free thats what I call a mod.

Quick edited p.s mine is a 1.9 cDTI auto so not the lightest of cars and if it stops that without fading can't be bad. Not as good as the brakes on my Civic Type R though still have a flat nose from last nights little jaunt.
