    Default poor handling vec c

    hi peeps
Im in need for some. I bought my 1st vec c 2 days ago.
But the handling is realy poor. Doing 20-30mph over a pot hole and u can feel the rear end slip to the driver side. You normaly tend to feel this when u have bold tyres.

Ive had a look at it myslf and took it to the garage today.
    Evrything seems fine.
    Tyres are good.
Suspension is good, no leaks or broken springs.

Any1 any idea what it could be?

99.9% sure its rear upper suspension arms. Very common vec problem. With the car sitting on the ground, pull on the top of the rear wheel and you should feel a clunk if one or both have gone, Hope that helps

the car does seem to dip more on the passenger side rear. When going over humps. Could that be due to the uppar arm being warn aswel ?

That could be a knackered shock absorber, another common problem lol

As John Robertson says it probably the rear upp suspension arms, not hard to check for and not that hard to replace, there are 'how tos' in this forum. When they are gone it makes the car feel like its been steered from the rear!
