Default SRI Steering Wheel Bottom Spoke Colour

    All,

Thought it might be an idea to try and get a colour match for the trim on the sri steering wheel. I have like a few others fitted the Astra silver bottom spoke to my Irmscher steering wheel. The Vauxhall official colour is alu but would the star silver paint be a good match? If we find a match then members could spray there own bottom spoke which is a better fit than the Astra one. No good asking me because i'm colour blind so suggestions below please.

only problem is getting it as dull as the rest of the trim. You'd have to spray it from a far distance so the paint partly dries in the air and doesnt give a gloss finish. Even then its going to be rough. Pretty hard to do and get it spot on i reckon.

Spray it, then use a matt finish laquer on it (not a car laquer, something from B&Q or a modellers shop would be best).

I'll get a can of star silver and give it a go tomorrow. The Astra one doesn't really fit that well. Surprised Irmscher didn't do one to match the wheel. They do the stereo control ones.

You can buy the silver section from vauxhall for the bottom spoke. Is this the bit you mean?

Ignored Matt, lol. Guess you sussed it's an Astra part and doesn't fit brilliantly.
