Default A few pics of my car

    Hi all,

Just spent most of today giving my car a once over and thought I'd share some pics with you lot...

The wax polish I used is the spray on type, very nice it was to use too! Sorry if the pics are a little blurry but they have been taken with my phone (Nokia N82) Digi cam is flat.

Nice colour and shine, poor mpg, lol and I also read scroates use those old type wheel jobbies to snap the steering lock, I personally don't see the point of anything more that the factory fit immobiliser.

    Thanks.

The products I use are good old asda car wash, with a wash mitt, loads of water and a chamios leather to get the paintwork and glass totally dry. I usually use either MER or AutoGlym wax polish. But today I found a tin of Car Pride spray wax whilst rummaging under the sink cupboard. I must admit it was very easy to use and produced the results seen!

As for the MPG, as the car only gets used for work and back mostly (6 miles per day) that's why it's saying what it is. I have seen over 50mpg quite easily though on a steady cruise on the motorway. The beemer I had before did 19 mpg on the same trip to work, so 37.6 mpg is quite impressive!

The steering lock, bought by my better half when I got the car. I know the history of them but it's better than nothing eh? Although the flashing LED that's built into it works only when IT wants to...lol
