Am stepping down as R/O

Hi ,As some of you know I've been R/O for over 4 Years now and It's been great !!!! I know the club has been through good as well as bad times and we have emerged through it all as a very strong and worthwhile concern ... Although I love my job as R/O I have to let someone else have crack and take the East Midlands into a new era with fresh ideas and a fresh outlook .... Although I'm stepping down I have no intention of leaving ...

I would just like to thank everyone who has supported me and the meets I've held at Rother Valley , Rutland waters and Santa Pod to name a few , Also those who have given money towards ' Help For Heroes ' Through BBQ's and the Truck pull on May 16th 2009 where we atill are raising money even now ... I still am yet to enter the moneys raised through the BBQ's onto the www.justgiving.com/vectra-c website , Which will be done very soon !!!

That's a shame Phil, the last of the old crew of RO's. Your an asset to the club mate and i'm sure you'll be sorely missed as the EM RO. Hope to see you still around the site.

Sorry to hear you are stepping down Phil.
I think I speak for everyone in saying thank you for some brilliant meets we have had over the years.

It was a pleasure being your assistant until I had to step down.

Phil,

It was one of those special that moments watching you pull that truck across the wet tarmac at the truck pull. I think you had to be there to get even close to realising what a huge effort was involved, not to mention the hours and hours of training that put you in a postion where you could actually do it. It was just awesome and I know I'll never forget it. Then of course you invited us all back to your place and manned the BBQ. Typical Phil!

Anyway thanks once again for all that you've done for the club and it's members which goes way, way beyond the RO role which you graced for many years. Thanks mate and the very best of luck for the future.
