1 job turns into 100 !

Our oven packed up on wednesday, its about 12 years old now so i said leave it til the weekend and we'll look for a new one.

Popped into Curry's this afternoon, saw one we liked in stainless steel finish (old one is white) and will be going back tomorrow to buy/order one.

On the way home comes the bombshell "we'll need to change the hob aswell, as it won't match the stainless oven !" Which is true !

So now there's a possibility that the work tops will need changing if the hob is a different size/shape which also means if i can't get a back splash the same size as the ones fitted now, i'll have to re-tile the kitchen walls where the work tops fit up to !

Hey Phil look at it from Anne,s point of view.
You come home from work............. "oh" dear Anne. My motor feels a bit slow. (compared to a 3.2V6 ) I think I will get a remap . Sorry Now. I think it needs a better exhaust to complement the expence of the re- map. Anne My car would not stop properly with all the power it has now. I need a brake up grade now. It is never ending.
This is a ladies point of view with things that us blokes think irrelivent.

Larisa is just as bad..
Mind you, as I have said on here before. Spend a "tenner" on them to keep them happy. Then spend ten times as much on your self to keep happy....

Ed, i dare not tell her the total amount i've spent on new fishing gear since coming back from France in April !
Lets just say its into 4 figures & climbing weekly.
I put an order in today for £135 worth of bait for my next French trip in 2 weeks time .

Know exactly how you feel,

for me it started with a simple comment to the effect that the Kitchen ceiling needed painting. That little job grew to include wallpaper, ripping out an existing wall, putting up the new one, 3 extra sockets, plasterboard and even more wallpaper.

Then she wanted the cabinet doors changed, which will soon be followed by worktops and finally flooring.

All of this while the new car is sitting on the drive crying out for some serious OCD cleaning and detailing.
