Hi folks, anyone any idea which turbo this model uses, mines gave up and now making police siren type noises and no literaly no turbo boost, im having trouble getting hold of a replacement they all seem to be for the 150bhp Z19DTH model and the Z19Dt is never listed anywhere surely i can be the only owner of that model!!, getting desperate now last ditch attempt before heading off to my main dealer to have my pants down lol

No apparantly not, i thought the same but after ringing around quite a bit in search of a turbo ive been told the z19dt (8 valve) is a different unit and uses quite a few different parts i.e turbo, typical! i bought the vectra thinking spares would be really easy/cheap to pick up

from what i gather the majority of the 120bhp 1.9cdti's are a detuned 16v, where as the older model (prior to 05) used the 8v version for 120bhp models

The 04- fiat jtd 1.9 (120) uses turbo part number GT1749MV (same part as our 150bhp cdti and also detuned 120 bhp version) and the 03- uses the GT1749V, can anyone confirm that this later part is the one i require? i presume they are the same unit but one has the manifold attatched or some other variation
