    Default Wheel bearings - again

OK. Ive got wheel bearing whine which I thought was coming from the nearside rear but couldn't be sure it wasn't from the front as the noise appeard to move if you know what I mean. Jacked it up, checked the rear and sure enough lots of play. Duely replaced.

Still got noise. Other rear is fine - or should I say it has no play. When I check the fronts there is play through the wheels on both sides but only in the horizontal plane ( 9 - 3). Recently Ive had to replace warped discs (nearside) and the offside tyre has started to go off on the inside edge.

    Cars done about 60k. Thoughts?

No relation as far as I'm aware. The speed humps are bad enough but the ammount of
    lights drive me insane.

LOL, I should hope not either, he lives on the IOW, rides a bike that you lay horizontal on, I'll leave it to your own imagination.

Kinger, play on the front horizontally can be movement in steering which can be expected as you are effectively trying to turn the other wheel which is on the ground, try it again with someone checking the steering wheel I bet it moves a tad. You wear on the tyre can be lots of thing esp. the inside edge.

Bushes also can give the play making you think that a bearing is out. I get what can be described as bearing noise from the rear, this was apparent on my veccy B and in both cases it is the tyres. Change is road surfaces will demonstrate this.

    Hope this helps
