    Just a word of warning paypal charge for gifts if the person making the gift uses a credit or debit card it is still free if it a transfer from a bank account, caught me out yesterday it won't anymore.

    Hi Paul, I'm really sorry this happened. It appears I should have clicked a radio button that charges me the additional fee instead of deducting it from the amount sent

    It never occured to me that there would be different fee structures between a debit card and a straight bank account transfer, especially as the money is coming from exactly the same place.

    I've just logged in to paypal this morning and sent you the shortfall so that you're not out of pocket.

    Chris, it wasn't a problem mate not for 64p I just wanted to make everyone else aware about cards and charging I have refunded it as I said it wasn't about the money but about paypal.

    Tadders that was my point 64p on £13 is 3.4% plus 20p the charges are more for larger amounts I just want everybody to know so the don't get caught on say £100 and it can apply to buyers or sellers so if you do it from your bank account no charges to anybody better the money in our pockets than fleabay/paypal.
